ucer Yash Chopra breathed his last on Sunday, days after being discharged fromMumbai's Lilavati hospital where he was treated for dengue. The 80-year-old filmmaker was admitted to the Bandra hospital on October 13 after being diagnosed with dengue.The cult filmmaker, who was looking forward to the release of his upcoming Shah Rukh starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan , was the founder of production company Yash Raj Films. In 1973, he was intrumental in launching superstar Amitabh Bachchan as the angry young man in his action thriller Deewar.
Other classic cult films made by Yash Chopra include Lamhe, Trishul,Chandni, Silsila, Veer Zaara and others.
